Night operations will receive airplay on this weeks edition of Brad Cain’s show on Nevis Radio.

The show will air from 10pm on Wednesday 1st of February and also feature other German Shepherd artists Hamsters, Screaming Love Collective and John the Revelator.

A Belated Happy New Year Message & Site Update

The site has had a brief overhaul and tidy-up for the new year, which reminds me, happy new year to you all! As well as the new theme, there has been some general tidying up and maintenance. Regarding the music, there will be more coming your way soon. In the meantime, if you haven’t yet picked up a copy of MANTRA, there are still some CD’s available for those of you who prefer a physical format, and as ever, it is still available to stream and download on the German Shepherd Records Bandcamp page here.

MANTRA reviewed for Sounds Magazine

Legendary music journalist Mick Middles has reviewed the MANTRA album for Sounds Magazine. The online review, gives the album a score of 9/10 and Mick comments that the album “retains a freshness that will stand repeated playings”.

Night Operations In Sonic Diary & Monty Show Best Of 2016 Lists

Night Operations has made three appearances in various “best of 2016” shows.

The album tracks Saturday Song and Circles both made Stephen Doyle’s list of Top 50 tracks of 2016, reaching positions 32 and 24 respectively.

Whilst the single Remember made part 2 of Monty’s Best Of 2016 show.

R.I.P. Alana Bondi

I am very saddened to hear of the sudden death of one of German Shepherds’ most talented artists, Alana Bondi, who passed away last week after a battle with cancer. My thoughts go to her friends and family at this difficult time.
